Marine Engineering

During the study of marine engineering, you will have the opportunity to specialize in specific areas such as marine operations, resources, aquaculture, technology management, design and logistics.

It is worth noting that after completing a bachelor's degree, marine engineers may need to take licensing exams by the maritime governing body in the country in which they are studying. For example, in America marine engineers typically undergo several US coastguard licensing exams. The exams are graded to work as a third assistant, then after more experience, a second assistant license is obtained, and so on.
